And with tonight's post comes the long overdue conclusion of an old trade with who is either not going to talk to me again for making her wait so long, or is the most patient person in the world (or possibly both).

So where have I been since my last Journal Entry?

Well since posting Imposters of Racine City in October, I moved twice. Once out of my old appartment and in with my Aunt and Uncle outside the city (very generous of them but man that was a commute), and once from my relatives into a new appartment back in December. Also in the moving category my girlfriend has moved across the state and is now living with me (and is most welcome company as opposed to my previous bachelor state of life).

Since posting Rough Riders Sister of Battle in February, my girlfriend and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary of our wonderfully kinky dating relationship, and I had a bit of a brush with death and ended up making a 13 day trip to the hospital for unexpected emergency surgery (day 1) that saved my life. The basic story for those interested is it turns out I had gotten Crohn's disease which had manifested in a number of lacerations along roughly 10 inches my intestines that had become quite painful, heavily infected and needed to be removed.

Since posting Viny Trade during my time at home recovering post operation I went back to the hospital for another few days after suffering from a side effect of my post-operation pain medication that the surgeon failed to mention might happen, and since then have completed a full recovery and returned to work at my 8-5 day job. I now even get to swim and work out at the wellness center again after I leave the office. About the only thing left to do is for my girlfriend and I to come up with a cool (completely fictitious story) about how I got my new scar.

So it's been an interesting few months on my end to say the least.

Looking ahead to the future, I'm just about done with my end of a trade with whose already posted a work in progress for his piece. That along with some clarification as to my inspiration behind what I requested from him can be expected in the near future.
